Wetumka 10/28/2011
A few weeks ago, I went out to Wetumka on a project. As you probably already know, I'm a sucker for old buildings. My best guess is that this was some sort of water treatment facility, but I really have no idea. I liked the colors and contrast of this sink, which was inside the building and up the stairs. The exterior of the building. No idea what's going on with the architecture here. And a beautiful sunflower to close out the post. It was growing right outside the building. On a side note, I love my new (used) camera! CommentsAugustine 10/28/2011 10:45
Hey Rhonda! Where bouts in Wetumka was this at? Just looking at the pictures - it sure looks familiar but can't figure out where the location is. I should know this - but I have been in so many areas of the town that I can't remember where I have seen it. Next time your down this way give me a hollar.

Hi there! The building is on the north side of town, near Clare and Washita, just south of where the new highway is going in. We were checking to make sure there wasnt anything associated with an allotment in the construction area. Are you going to the OCOT meeting in Okmulgee next week?
